Whether you’re at the beginning of your career journey in the OEHS field or ready to take your career to the next level, it can feel overwhelming. From crafting the perfect resume to polishing your interview skills, maximizing your career opportunities is a job in itself sometimes. In a niche industry like industrial hygiene, the list of opportunities may be long but scattered all over the place. We created the CareerAdvantage program to help employers find the right candidate for their organizations while helping job seekers maximize their potential for success.
Not in the market for a job? AIHA’s CareerAdvantage program is designed for continuous development, helping you network more effectively, keep your resume sharp, and polish your general job skills with our Career Learning Center. The best part: It’s a free resource year-round for job seekers.
And we’ve created a space for you to take advantage of the program at AIHce EXP, too.
Reach qualified candidates with AIHA job postings
The CareerAdvantage program offers a plethora of options for employers, and we’ve just added a new one to the list. You can reach thousands of passive and active job seeker members by including your job posting in the next issue of the AIHA Advantage Career Wire eNewsletter. The industry's leading career resource, each issue features important industry articles, employment opportunities, events, and more!
Network to impress at AIHce EXP
Every year at AIHce EXP, CareerAdvantage hosts several events for job seekers and employers, including speed networking, on-site mock interviews, resume counseling, and career seminars. These events allow employers to put a “face to a name” and give you a chance to let your personality shine. Employers can even select candidates prior to the event for on-site interviews at AIHce in Philadelphia, so be ready to put your best foot forward in person!
This year’s Building Careers for Life Development Fair features sessions designed to help those in the OEHS field advance their current careers and find and maintain positions in the industry. The CareerAdvantage Development Fair also provides an opportunity for employers and OEHS professionals to mingle and make important contacts. It’s not all about finding a job, but developing your career in a more rounded way.
Year-round career development assistance
The best part about CareerAdvantage is the resume critiquing and career advice available to candidates throughout the year. Whether you’re an employer or a candidate seeking a job, be sure to keep your profile and information updated. Our CareerAdvantage platform works better for you if you use it frequently, checking for updates and getting real-time statistics on your job postings (if you’re an employer).
More importantly, we wanted to create a platform that goes beyond job postings, which is why CareerAdvantage is packed with advice and tips and ways to connect with industry insiders for guidance. If you have any questions about the platform, you can contact Wanda Barbour.
