AIHce EXP presents professional development courses (PDCs) before and after the conference. These courses are formalized learning experiences that, through in-depth instruction by field experts, enhance technical competence and provide practical tools and skills for the modern workplace.
PDCs will be held on Saturday, May 19; Sunday, May 20; and Thursday, May 24 as half-, one-, or two-day courses. There is a separate registration fee for each PDC. Boxed lunches are provided for all full-day courses, as well as for individuals who register for two half-day courses occurring on the same day.
Full PDC descriptions are available now in the session search listing.
PDC handouts were made available on May 4th.
You must bring either an
electronic copy (loaded on a laptop) or print a copy of all course handouts to
use as a reference during your course.
Electronic course materials are convenient, searchable and
portable. They can be easily stored, referenced, managed and retained for
future reference. Best of all, they help minimize the negative impact on the
environment by giving you the option to save, print, or transfer files to a
portable device. Course handouts allow you to take notes and highlight the
document. Learn to make the most of your electronic handouts by watching our online tutorial.
If you would like to take notes on the handout itself, an easy
way to do it is to click the comment button, which may appear on the right side
of the page or as one of the options under "Tools", then click the
or move the cursor to where you would like to take notes, and begin typing.
